In many developing countries, the livestock sector plays a vital role in national economy, providing source of food, income, and employment. With changes demographical, socio-economic, environmental status, world is facing challenges low productivity has become both culprit victim undesirable climate change impacts globally. this paper, we will review status Nepalese production systems evaluate possible species-specific strategies to promote more productive sustainable future. Nepal, deemed essential alleviate poverty improve nutritional population, as other countries. However, there need for substantial improvements productivity, particular improvement feeding exploit genetic potential livestock. For ruminants, important issue value hence utilization existing feedstuffs. Use of, e.g., urea, molasses, enzymes feed digestibility implementation technologies effectively preserve biomass from forages that are only seasonally available necessary strategic measures.
